Now that it is getting colder outside, students should be prepared daily for cold weather situations. Proper attire includes a warm coat, mittens/gloves and a head covering. During snowy and windy conditions snow boots and snow pants must be worn. District winter weather guidelines state the students will not be sent outside for recess when the wind chill or temperature reaches -10 degrees F. Please note that if your child wants to play in the snow, snow pants and snow boats are required.
Peanuts or products containing peanuts are not allowed in the classroom. Due to the number of allergies and dietary restrictions that exist, we ask that if you bring treats for a birthday or other celebration, please purchase those treats so they contain an ingredient label.

Thank you for helping keep our children safe.
Prairie Rose Elementary encourages parents to become involved in school decisions and activities. PAC is an important committee used to share information and receive feedback about academics, events, programs, etc. PAC may also be leaders in special events within the school or may head up fundraising for special projects.
PAC meetings are held 12:00-1:00pm on the third Tuesday of each month at Prairie Rose Elementary. District PAC meetings are held Tuesday after the Board Meeting each month at noon.
