Cold Weather Guidelines

When the temperature starts falling, students should be prepared daily for cold weather situations. Proper attire includes a warm coat, mittens/gloves and a head covering. During snowy and windy conditions snow boots and snow pants must be worn. District winter weather guidelines state the students will not be sent outside for recess when the wind chill or temperature reaches -10°F. Parent Advisory Council

Prairie Rose Elementary encourages parents to become involved in school decisions and activities. PAC is an important committee used to share information and receive feedback about academics, events, programs, etc. PAC may also be leaders in special events within the school or may head up fundraising for special projects.
